Foot Reading 101 - Personality analysis through the feet...

So…. What is Foot Reading and is there a place for Foot Readers?

This is a fast-growing area for Reflexologists as an adjunct to Foot Reflexology services. But the neat thing is... 

ANYONE CAN TAKE THIS CLASS. One does not have to be a Reflexologist to do so.

Experienced Foot Readers can tell a lot about the owner of a pair of feet, ranging from personality to perceptions of life events.

Feet very accurately reflect the physical and emotional health and well-being of a person. An over simplification of this technique would be to say that well balanced people have beautiful, evenly shaped and spaced toes. The toes of people who have had more challenging lives will appear “toe-tied”, depicting the lumps and bumps, twists and turns of the personal and emotional lives they have lived up to this point in time. The ever-changing characteristics of the feet, toes and nails provide valuable clues to the inner struggles or inner resolve of their story.

In a classic Foot Reflexology session the practitioner is observing subtle changes in the tissue and presentations of the reflex areas. For example, a callused reflex area might represent a more chronic complaint related to the related organ while a sensitive reflex can reflect a more acute, or recent, complaint. However, when the feet are ‘read’ the Foot Reader takes a look at different aspects of the person's personality that show up in those reflexes.

We're not just about relaxing feet and the body you know! In our Foot Reading workshops you will learn the art of Foot Reading for stress reduction therapy (the more you know about someone, the less stressful any relationship could be), for self-knowledge, to understand family and friends, or simply for fun!

Realize how others see you by examining the angles, shapes, and textures of the entire foot - toes, nails, soles, skin - you will have a map to the personality and health of that individual.

Examples of foot reading patterns:

• Especially long toes may represent a very artistic or talented individual but can also reflect a “head in the     clouds” personality, a daydreamer.

•  Very short toes with little toe necks may belong to a very practical owner who may also take life a little too    seriously.

• Deep lines on the plantar portion or sole of the foot can reflect deeply-rooted patterns, perhaps strong ties to     families or long-lasting habits and beliefs.

• Calluses may be a symbol of needing extra protection for a reflex area.

• Bunions can be read a number of ways, such as representing a broken heart (since this is the area of the     heart reflex in Reflexology) or a generous giver.

• Toenails represent thoughts – nail fungus can be a sign that the owner is uncomfortable with his thoughts or     may be sabotaging him or herself.

The cost is only $285 for the 2-days and it is chock-full of information about how to find out what a person is like through the shape and size and length of their feet and toes.

ANYONE CAN TAKE THIS CLASS!

Payment/Cancellation Policy

A minimum of a $100.00 deposit is required with your registration. 

Balance is due the morning of the actual class.

Reflex-OIL-ogy™ reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any pre-registered class that does not meet the minimum number of pre-registrations up to seven days prior to the class.  If the class needs to be rescheduled, registered students may choose between receiving a full credit towards a future class or a refund of their fee, minus processing fees. 

If a life event forces you to cancel your participation, a refund, minus processing fees, will be issued with a legitimate cancellation request received seven days prior to the class.  After that, you will receive a credit for a future class.
